Minor Updates to the Joomla -> WordPress Conversion tool

Made some minor adjustments to the Joomla -> WordPress Conversion tool and tested against WordPress 2.6.x

I have also come to the conclusion that I need to start pulling myself out of the projects and write some more up here. More on that later…. Maybe.

ok, i foun dyou rblog while looking up Joomla to Wp conversion. i am not a programer, however i am a field service tech for dell an dim trying to help a friend with converting a non blog website over to wordpress, i feel that i am missing something here. do you have any resources on a step by step approach, IE how do i get the actuall images, backgrounds, ect over to wordpress, is it as simple as coping the to the export folder and running the script. any advise whould be helpfull.

Hi, I haven’t tried this on a WP2.8 install so it may work OK, but are there any plans to update this script to support the newer releases of WP?
